Though running a small business rather than employed as such, both Sarah and Elizabeth have teaching degrees and experience it teaching art--and are always interesting in teaching. Roam the FAQ here on the website, drop by one of the livestreams for some how-to's and Q&A, or check out one of the coming lesson kits below. Email us or friend & follow us on on Facebook to see what we are up to. Watch & chat with us on YouTube or Twitch—remember to click subscribe, bell, & follow buttons. Inspired to look for pottery tools? We also have content on Instagram and occasionally even Twitter... even check out our Pinterest page. Ask us questions; our degrees are in both art and education. Here's a list of Frequently Asked Questions.
If you want to watch (and chat) with us while in the studio check us out via Twitch, YouTube, or Facebook for our livestream--and click like/subscribe/follow (depending on the platform) both to see more in the future and to help our channel(s) grow. You can catch us live on any of the three platforms, but YouTube has the archive of all our past vids. Powered by Restream.io
One of the best ways to passively support a YouTube content creator is not only to click like but to leave their videos playing in the the background; this increases their "watch hours" and ups their chances of their channel being monetized and earning slow nickels from ad revenue. If you watch on Twitch, the important metric is watching the stream live and dropping a few comments.
Tile-painting Kit includes 1 pre-bisqued tile and 4 dried pats of underglaze. Tools you will need include: a pencil (mechanical preferably), an eraser, small paintbrushes, and small craft (xacto) blade. If you do not have your own kiln, hang onto your shipping materials—you will need them to ship the tile back for glazing and firing.
While we have a number of pre-recorded classes, contact us to set up a live-streamed private session for your group, event, or class.
If you are interested in supporting us building up the educational line-up, donations that allow us to dedicate more time to it are appreciated. It's also what we are gearing our Patreon towards.
If you are interested in the tools or supplies to make pottery, check out our Amazon Influencer Shop. This also works in tandem with class handout downloads if you want to lay in a stock of supplies rather than go with a kit. Why do we list this rather than ceramic stores? Ceramic shops are highly regional and the best way to find your 'local' one is to google them or contact a local school with a ceramics class to ask who they order their supplies from (don't be surprised if the nearest ceramics store is 3hrs drive away).
This is a list anyone can access and you can always just use it as a reference to shop at your art-supplier of preference.
Drop by our Patreon -- join if you feel like it!
How do we stream to multiple platforms simultaneously?
We use OBS (free software) to build our stream and send the data to Restream.io (free again) which then sends videos to multiple channels simultaneously and allows us to see messages from those channels in one feed. We have a decently beefy graphics machine (aka a decent gaming-pc build) to record and stream from, but our cameras /mics are all under-$30 webcams.
Website?
Sarah builds ours in-house (yes, she's for-hire) using MS Expression Web 4 (free software, again) with PayPal cart. Fatcow is our wonderful, inexpensive, & eco-friendly web-host with brilliant customer support.
What we sell is handmade pottery, thus there will always be variations and features to the things we create. It is part of the process. All sales are final. No return shipping labels provided. We are not responsible for any fees incurred for package pick-up for international orders; our shipping fees cover shipping only and not any additional fees charged by the receiving postal service.
